What We Do

The Cultural Anchor

At Datnm, we believe high-intensity care should never come at the cost of your connection to community. We create supported living environments that act as a "cultural anchor"—giving you the high-level nursing support you need while keeping you exactly where you belong.

Culturally Designed Living Spaces

Our accommodation is built to accommodate not just the participant, but their family and kin. We create spaces that allow for Yarning, visits from Elders, and the presence of extended family, ensuring that the “home” environment supports your emotional and cultural wellbeing as much as your physical health.

Embedded Clinical Oversight

While the atmosphere is warm and communal, the support is robust. Our 24/7 clinical team provides onsite management for complex conditions—including Diabetes monitoring, substance dependency support, and chronic illness management—ensuring that you are always safe, even when your health needs are complex.

Connection to Country & Community

We don’t believe in isolating our participants in medical facilities. We situate our accommodation within the community, providing the transport and social support needed to attend community events, cultural ceremonies, and family gatherings. Your care plan is designed to keep you active in your community, not hidden away.

Trauma-Informed & Holistic Care

We understand that high-intensity health needs often coexist with other life challenges. We provide a non-judgmental environment that supports mental health, emotional regulation, and wellbeing, using a trauma-informed approach that honors your history and your path forward.
Who It’s For

A Deep Dive

For Participants: Being on Country, Not in a Ward

This is for you if you have high medical needs but want to live a real life. You shouldn't have to choose between getting your nursing care and being with your family or on your Country. Our accommodation is your home. We provide the nurses, the medication management, and the health support you need, but we do it in a way that respects your privacy, your family’s role, and your connection to the land. You aren't a "patient" here; you are part of a community that knows you, values you, and supports you.
